We are an independent destination grocery store selling exceptional food and wines, celebrating the best of Welsh products alongside top brand names. The store provides our customers with all of their shopping needs that they would expect from a modern day general store. Our customers are greeted and treated with exceptional service, rooted in traditional values. Our aim is to serve our community and visitors whilst making shopping an interesting and friendly experience, whether it’s seasonal fruit and vegetables, fresh meat, breads and pastries, wines and ales, and traditional deli items that customers are shopping for.
Who we are:
Gary and Adrian Stevenson are residents of Llanfair, Harlech

We recognised that the area was in need of a great general grocery store and we decided to do something about it. We opened Y Groser Harlech in Spring 2022, on Harlech High Street, the perfect location to introduce our new business.
Food service, hospitality, and retail is bound in our DNA.
We are both trained chefs, food and cooking is our passion, this sits aside our extensive experience in customer service and we are excited to apply and share these skills at Y Groser Harlech.

Y Grocer Harlech, is situated on the High Street within the World Heritage site of Harlech town, sitting alongside Harlech Castle and surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia, edged by the famous and glorious Harlech beach and sand dunes, with stunning views looking out across Cardigan bay.
